New Poems in Cincinnati Review and Calyx

(and old poems) of mine can be found in the newest issues of the Cincinnati Review (issue 8.2) and Calyx (issue 27.1).

I’ve got four prose poems from my manuscript, The Rusted City, in the Cincinnati Review, and one poem about reading Walt Whitman and drinking radioactive chemicals in Calyx.

I’m proud to be sharing space in both of these issues with writers associated with UNC Wilmington. Edith Pearlman, whose collection, Binocular Vision (a finalist for the National Book Award), was published by UNCW’s Lookout Books, has a short story in the Cincinnati Review, and Lavonne Adams, a former instructor of mine in the MFA program at UNCW, has a poem in Calyx. Friends, if you’re going to AWP this year (I’ll be sad to miss it), check out these issues at the book fair.
